First of all, I am a lover of Jesus. I want to give Him all of myself, so that He can use me to accomplish his will. I am also an artist. I enjoy painting and drawing. I have also been doing photography for a little less than a year now. I love worship music. I would much rather listen to Misty Edwards than listen to anything else, although I do have an appreciation for other genres of music. I have been playing bass guitar for about two years now, and I am learning acoustic. For now, I’m so excited about the prospect of being part of a worship team at my home church, Goshen New Life. I live in Newton Grove, North Carolina(of which you have probably never heard), and I live with my wonderful parents, Tina and Stan. I am the oldest of four brothers, Joshua, Justin, and Jason. I would be lying if I told you that we always get along, but we have our good days and our bad days. As a senior at Hobbton High school, I am just praying for direction about where I am to go. My top priority is to be where my Father wants me to be.

You bet it is. Hmmm, your question gives me the need to tell a story!
When my parents were trying to conceive, they were having a hard time. One sunday, at church, they went up to the altar to pray. During that time, God told them that it is His will for them to have a child, and that they were supposed to name him Josiah. I definitely think that God has a sense of humor. For those of you who dont know who Josiah was, he became the king of Judah when he was eight years old. The thing that he is best know for is the restoration of the temple, and worship to God. So, hopefully you might see why I think it is funny for God to name me “Josiah King.”
