Wow, it’s really been a long time since I have been on this blog. So here is my update:
I didnt go to IHOP in Kansas City. God led me to go to the Zadok House of Prayer in Fort Mill, South Carolina. I love it here. If you would like to help an intercessory missionary out, give me an email. I plan on updating my blog when I have more time.
OK, I dont really have time to talk about my entire experience right now, but I just have to tell everyone that IHOP is amazing. No snow on the ground, but what are you going to do? Anyway, I have never experienced anything like this before. I am definitely going to the Onething internship. God confirmed. Gotta run right now, more posts and pictures to follow.
I can hardly contain myself anymore. Tomorrow my dad and I will get on a plane in Raleigh, North Carolina, and in 3 hours we will be in Kansas City, Missouri. I looked at the weather report, and there is supposed to be a good chance of flurries. At my house, the temperature is about 70. 70 degrees to a high of 30 degrees? I think that’s a pretty good difference. I can’t wait to spend time in the prayer room. It’s feels kind of weird to be excited about something like prayer, but my soul longs to experience my Father’s love for me.
OK, I have a little problem. As most of you know, I just turned 18. I really want to vote in this upcoming election. I have been praying that God would put the right man in office, and I trust that if the Body of Christ stands faithful, then he will do this. At the same time, I know that it is up to Christians and other conservatives to elect a man based on morals, particularly, on the issue of abortion. I believe that this is the foremost issue that should be on our hearts. After all, what is more important, the economy, or the life of a human being? I have been really frustrated because the man I wanted to vote for is not doing so well. I think that Huckabee would make an excellent president. At this moment, it does not look like he can win the nomination of the Republican party, but God can do anything. If Huckabee does not win the nomination, it comes down to this: who do I vote for? There is no way that I am voting for either Clinton or Obama. Both of these candidates support “women’s rights” over the rights of a child. McCain seems like the only other choice. He does not excite me at all. Over his time in Washington, he has continuously opposed President Bush on the issue of defining marriage as being between a man and a woman, he has supported stem cell research, and he has not been an open opponent of abortion. Please be in prayer about the elections. This is a pivitol time in America’s history and we need God to intercede on our behalf, as we intercede on behalf of the nation.

In thirteen more days, me and my dad will be going to the Passion for Jesus conference at IHOP(International House of Prayer) in Kansas City, Missouri. I am so excited. If you have never heard of IHOP, let tell you little bit about it really quick. IHOP is amazing! Even though I have not been to IHOP yet, I have been touched by their ministy. They teach about the importance of prayer, worship, and the fasted lifestyle. In Kansas City, they have a prayer room that has 24/7 prayer and worship. The Prayer Room has been open for eight years. On Godtv, the Prayer Room is aired live for 3-4 hours every morning. By the way, only Direct TV offers Godtv. If you want to be inspired and connected to the way that God is moving in the earth, definitely get Godtv. Buying the satellite and service is so worth it, just for the anointed programming. Back to IHOP. IHOP is a major center for the apostolic and prophetic. I am listening to Mike Bickle(founder of IHOP) speak about the prophetic experiences that he and others have had relating to IHOP, in a series called Encountering Jesus, and it is amazing.
